Focus

We begin this course with  learning how to write and format a resume and cover letter and how to correctly fill out a job application.  Professional dress and interviewing skills are also practiced.

We transition into learning about what the marketing mix is and why it should be tailored to a well-defined target market.

Next, we investigate the different types of economies, political systems, and natural resources to understand the role they play in determining what is produced.

Now we turn to learning about the employability skills needed to be successful in the workplace.

We move onto  learning the steps to personal selling and how to provide excellent customer service.

Now we focus on advertising and ethics,  and the legal consequences for deceptive advertising.

We wrap up the course with a project titled Can You Sell Me That Product? Demonstrating what you have learned you will create a video that demonstrates the six steps to a sale and the selling process for a specific product or service.
