U.S. History to 1865
This course begins with a study of the geography of North America and the first Americans. It then moves to the era of European exploration, the colonization of the New World, the American Revolution, and building a new government. The course emphasizes the geographic, political, and economic growth of the United States in the first half of the 19th century. It concludes with the examination of the Civil War.
